If you've found your way here, chances are you already know Bobo: the golden retriever with the soft eyes, the wonky little smile, and an appetite for chicken that knows no limits. But every face has a story, so let us tell you ours.
Forever my baby
Bobo came into the world in early 2026. In the videos, though, he stays a baby, because that's exactly what he is to me, and always will be. Forever my baby.
He's a piece of pure joy. Curious about everything, a little naughty when he thinks no one is looking, a total goofball, and always, always full of love. If you've ever wondered what unconditional love looks like, it looks a lot like Bobo wagging his whole body when you walk through the door.
A few of his favorite things
Here are a few of the things that make Bobo happiest:
- Chicken. Always chicken.
- Kitchen supervision. He stands very close whenever food is being prepared, just in case.
- His stuffies. The whole collection.
- Couch cuddles. Especially during a movie.
- His smile. And showing it off to anyone who'll look.
How Bobo found me
Bobo came into my life because I needed some company. I didn't want to come home to an empty house. I wanted a bit of unconditional love. What I got was so much more than I ever expected.
Giving Bobo a voice
On February 14th, 2026, I started posting Bobo on Instagram and Facebook. The idea was simple: dogs can't talk, but I could imagine what Bobo was thinking and give him a voice. So I started speaking for him, sharing his point of view on our little life together and all of his everyday adventures.
It turns out a lot of people wanted to come along for the ride.
Something much bigger than I expected
I will be honest: I was completely surprised by the love Bobo has received. Today, he's grown to around 100k friends on Instagram and close to 80k on Facebook, and making his videos, talking with everyone, and building this little corner of the internet has happily taken over most of my free time.
But the numbers were never the surreal part. The surreal part is the community. The messages of support, the personal stories, the people who tell me that Bobo brings a little joy to their hardest days. People share Bobo with the ones they love and make him part of their daily ritual. It honestly makes me feel like part of one big family, and it's what keeps me going.
Why I made a shop
So many of you asked the same thing: how can I bring a bit of Bobo's joy into my own home? So I made something. It started with a mug, based on one of your favorite Bobo stories, with his adorable face on it, so your morning coffee or tea comes with a little sparkle and a smile.
That's really the whole point of Bobo. The world throws a lot of struggle and negativity at us these days. Bobo is here to bring back a bit of joy and sunshine.
